Quality Control Chemist

PolyPeptide is a global leader in peptide manufacturing, supporting innovative therapies worldwide. We are seeking a Quality Control Chemist to perform analytical testing and ensure our products meet the highest GMP and quality standards.

Position Summary

The Quality Control Chemist performs testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using a variety of analytical instruments. This role is responsible for accurate data documentation, equipment calibration, and identifying potential quality issues while supporting a compliant laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing using HPLC/UPLC, GC, MS, FTIR, LC/MS, and related instruments

• Prepare samples and solutions per established methods

• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment

• Document all work in compliance with cGMP requirements

• Identify and report quality issues and support corrective actions

• Assist with SOP updates and maintain lab cleanliness

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field

• 1+ years of cGMP lab experience (pharma/biotech preferred)

• Experience with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, etc.)

• Strong attention to detail and technical documentation skills

• Ability to manage priorities and work both independently and on a team

Salary: $25-$28 per hour
